I have a SQL query that includes SELECT DISTINCT that is not using Rushmore. I have UNIQUE index tags that could be used to speed up the query.

Are all SELECT DISTINCT queries not able to use Rushmore?

I can always use my index tag and use COPY TO but it seems that this should not be necessary.
