Run WinZip using my API_APPRUN class, which can be downloaded from the Files section. It will allow you to run an external app hidden.
You must use the registered version of WinZip; otherwise, there's a dialog presented every time you launch WinZip, and the user needs to respond by clicking a button. If you are running an unregistered copy, you must purchase the registred version; registration is not free.
Doug Hennig wrote an article in FoxTalk in June of 2001 about using WinZip within a VFP app; he used my ZPI_APPRUN class to do this, so if you get the back issue of FoxTalk, there's sample code covering this exact topic. Doug may have the article on his web site;
