Show scroll progress in grid?

When a user scrolls a grid using the up or down arrows, or by clicking above or below the scroll box, the grid responds showing the progress of the scroll. This makes it easy to scroll to the approximate area you want because you can alwasy see where you are.

A client has asked me if I can make my grids do that when he slides the scroll box as well. When you slide the scroll box, you can only see where you are when you stop. Sliding the scroll box does not seem to even trigger the Scrolled event. Has anyone figured out a way to either make the scroll box respond in this way or to show a ToolTip-like box (similar to what Access does in its "browses") when the scroll box is moved?

Thanks for your help,
