You need to give more information. SP, OS, etc.
What kind of crash? C005 or other error? Do you get an error at all? Does it happen always at the same place and in all machines?

You say that if you open the view then run report it works. I understand you mean by that it works from the command prompt with REPORT FORM? Is that correct? Does it fail on EXEs?

Please give more details so we can try to help.
