Maybe, I am not understanding something. I thought that the dataset required the datetime?? Maybe it's the DataAdapter than is doing the converting of date to datetime. I thought is was the DataSet because that is where I was able to change the format from datetime to date. Actually, I'm not sure what I thought - I just found that one solution of the bindings worked and went with it. Are you using VFP dates in the DataSet???
