BTW: I've just noticed, that I can't use Len's approach, since my hook object can't call back to the control's code, so it can run the NODEFAULT in between. Otherwise I would loose my generic hook calls. But that's another thing <g>. I'll just leave my workaround as it is and everything is ok.
