I figured out a way to make it work though not the way I hoped to.

I had a group on Pool which is the group of banks. The variable was defined on the variable on the individual bank and was reset when the pool changed. I changed the definition to the amount for each account in the bank and had it reset when the pool changed.

As I said, now it works but I thought I would be able to do the variable to sum up the results of another variable.
