With regard to inheritance, is there for a way to call a base object's default method/event handler? I know VFP provides us with a way to PREVENT the default from being called, but how do I call the default method, perhaps with different parameters? (If there is a way please enlighten me... I haven't had the time to try and figure this out yet).

Everyone knows certain container objects, namely pageframes, don't even work intuitively. And it would have been nice if VFP allowed us to handle new 'events' that are otherwise unsupported. How about multiple inheritance? Ok... ok... I'm asking for too much. :)

Don't get me wrong. I'm not really criticizing VFP's OOness. Even though I've worked with it for only a couple of months, I come from a Delphi/C++ viewpoint and these have true object-oriented capabilities so I just wish VFP could somehow evolve to support similar features.

Regards to all,
