I need to write standard code that actually refers to different dbcs. I thought one could give alias to a dbc, but haven't found a way!

A workaround is to give all dbcs have the same name but keep them in different directories. Less desirably, one can save the dbc name in a variable and refer to it indirectly. Can you suggest any other workarounds?
