I deleted foxuser.dbf and .fpt and it made no difference. It looks like Im going to have to recreate the form. :( I hope it works because this project is due for completion at the end of week.

>>This a really wired problem. I have a form that when run, starts up perfectly fine, and looks perfect but totally freezes... It dosent respond to anything. Like you dont see any button animations, I cant even move the form buy draging the title bar. I cant click on the close button in the upper corner.

>>It is really wired because it worked fine before... The only difference is that im running win xp now. Even then it worked fine for a while and about after 20 min of working with it, it just stopped resonding. I can step though the whole startup and there is no errors or anything. Once it gets ready to accept user interaction it freezes completely. Whats even more wierd is that all the other forms work fine and the rest of the program functions normally. Its just this one form. I double checked to make sure there is not lockscreen properties getting set also...

>>Any ideas??? Could this be because of XP?

>I missed the part where you said it was one form only. I just experienced a similar issue. However, my case was related to VFP6 closing down due to an "ERROR" (kernell32 related). Nick Neklioudov suggested looking at the FoxUser.dbf and fpt and even deleting them if necessary.

>However, I found that in the end, creating the from from scratch eliminated the problem.
