I've deleted the foxuser and no difference. I was just typing away normally and it happened again. It's actually screwed up right now, so I thought I'd paste some characters I'm getting

[=ü ]=+ {=Ü }=* \=# |=' ;=ö '=ä :=Ö "=Ä
,=, .=. /=- <=; >=: ?=_ -=ß ==´ _=? +=` `=^ ~=°
!=! @=" #=§ $=$ %=% ^=& &=/ *=( (=) )==

a-z A-Z and 0-9 seem to be normal

The font is normal (Courier New). Any previous data or typed line is not effected, only what I type. I've just been playing with it now and think I'm on to something. I will type something at the command line, and then hold down Shift+Ctrl+Alt to see what's on the main VFP screen just as I always have. I think this is changing my codepage or keyboard mapping somehow. Does anyone know if this is an XP or VFP7 'feature' that I'm unaware of? I got it to go back to normal by bashing S+C+A a couple times. Any insight into this is appreciated. Thanks.

>I don't have any idea whether it will help, but you didn't say whether or not you deleted your foxuser.dbf file...

>>No, it's definately a mapping issue. When it switches, all my previous commands are in the command window. So I can go up and highlight the '? set("exact")' line, but when I try to type it, I can't because the keys are remapped. It's like everything in VFP is normal, except when I type something.
