This works very well unless the user clicks on a command button outside of the pageframe. When that happens, both the 'lostfocus' of the text box and the 'click' of the command button both run.

Why is the 'setfocus' not working outside the pageframe?

I just tested this and it works just fine for me. Do you have a NODEFAULT after the SetFocus()? If not, this may be your problem.
