Can somebody pls tell me, that Is there any way through which I can make a desktop shortcut on a html page.

Say I want to put a link on a html page, on which whenever user clicks notepad starts or say word starts.

My idea is to remove all shortcuts from the desktop and put it in a html file which I can use as a wallpaper.

If somebody is having any idea abt. it, Pls Pls reply me.
