Mac Rubel has joined EPS Software Corp. in the position of Director of Marketing and Sales of EPS' Custom Software and Consulting Divisions.

Mac's experience in sales and marketing with companies such as Perrier and Pepsi Co., as well as his experience in the field of Custom Software Development make him an exciting new addition to the EPS management staff. This move also means that Mac will return to the circle of authors and speakers for Visual FoxPro as well as Visual Studio.NET.


Mac is a graduate of Dartmouth College where he learned BASIC from John Kemeny, the creator of the language, and has an MBA from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. After working in consumer sales and marketing for a decade he decided to get a real job and started doing computer work. He is the author of several books on the Xbase language including FoxPro 2.0 Power Tools. He is a contributing editor to FoxPro Advisor and, until recently, had a monthly column appearing in at least one publication for eleven years. He is the author of the FoxPro Power Developer's Library, a cross-platform suite of utilities for FoxPro 2.5/2.6 and Visual FoxPro, and Raidar, the Development Debugger for FoxPro 2.5/6 and Visual Raidar for Visual FoxPro. He has also spoken at many national and regional conferences over the past twelve years and is a five-time Microsoft MVP.
