I'm having similar problems with a Canon DR-5020. Not the imprinter, but the duplex function.

With our Canon DR-3020 scanners, if you set the settings in any Twain or Isis compliant software, they "stick" until you change them again.

Trick 1 was, it took me some close manual reading to realize that the new supplied scanner utility does NOT use Twain or ISIS to control the scanner, but does it directly. So, setting things like the duplex settings with their utility doesn't "stick".

Now, I'm stuck too -- I can't seem to get the scanner settings to stay put, nor to control them inside Foxpro -- I want to set the scanner to duplex mode, and set the contrast to auto, and it just won't do it! In fact, the settings are sticking for other apps, but Foxpro (or the Kodak OCX) is somehow by default overriding them.

If you find out anything, please let me know!
