OK, thanks for your thoughts.

I use QueryUnload on my modal forms but I have to set Closable = .t., you are able to use QueryUnload even when Closeble = .f. which I guess is a benefit but I would have to think about it.

I also suspect that you are operating from a Menu Bar where the operator can go just about any place. My screens work off buttons meaning they can only work with the buttons on the screen.

For the type of work I do (School Time Tabling, Student Infractions, Exam Scheduling, Library Management etc.) I haven't seen a need for the flexibility that Modeless forms offer. But I will keep my mind open on this.

It appears with Modeless forms you have to have timeouts or some other method of closing them since the operator is not forced to do this.

Anyway, it looks like I will have to give this some more thought.
