Hi Helen,

In my tests internal addresses work fine, but external gave unreliable results. It could be, what we have some problems with Network and GroupWise installation, which you don't have. Besides, you're on Novell 5.1 while we're still using Novell 4.

Anyway, if you want to test this program how reliable it is for external addresses, try to run test program I showed in the first message of this thread. Use my address (click on my envelope) for your tests.

I guess and hope, you would not experience the same problems, we did.

We tried:

1) MapiMail class by Nigel Coates - worked fine on one server and unreliably on NT server.

2) MailWithGroupWise program - lacks reliablity.

3) IDSMail - still struggling with it. Say, today user asked me to check, why distribution didn't work. It said, 27 jobs were completed and one incompleted, but we checked send items and there were 0 e-mails sent. We haven't yet migrated my latest version on Distribution on Live.

Anyway, I quickly wrote a simple program to send all these files, and this time it seemed to work...

Regarding your problem with unclosed Excel, I believe, I saw threads here about this problem. Can you search?
