I have used the wwipstuff class library to send out e-mails. Formerly, I used calls to MS Outlook. Then, I started to run into security problems related to attachments. More recently, I gained access to a corporate SMTP server and have been using that to send e-mails. I've had no problems with the SMTP server. I'm still using the routines in wwipstuff.
