>Is anyone aware of an e-mail virus (or maybe just malicious spam) that arrives with the subject "your password" and some URL to click on in the body of the message? An acquaintance of mine reported receiving such a message, purportedly from me. I didn't send it and my machines all come back clean with a NAV virus scan. I can't find any reference to this type of thing at sarc.com, incidents.org, cert.org, etc., although I do recall receiving an e-mail like this myself last week, which I deleted without opening. Does anybody have any information on this?
That might be a new variation of the Klez worm that is going around. See
http://msn.com.com/2100-1105-891854.html. Unfortunately I think I got it at home, the AV wasn't able to detect it.
I haven't heard from anybody on my contact list though.
