All my colleagues are right. My last 3 years experience in converting of FP2.6 project as outsourcing firm show that you can keep only business logic and data model(in reality sometimes it needs improvements). If you not have your own framework - test a few one and get the most suitable for your project. Different frameworks have different advantages and weaknesses.
If your databases are big, think about combination of VFP and SQL Server.
If your application is big and there are time constrains think about help in it development.
