The look of curly braces drive me nuts. I'm a very visual person and having my code neat and tidy helps me think better, and those curlies just don't "look" right. I'd end up hating the language for that reason.

I know it sounds a little silly, but since both VB and C# are supposed to work equally well we should choose whatever suits us best (for whatever reason) rather than being purists trying to say that one is better than the other.

I hope this answers Evan's question. I still haven't gotten very far in learning .Net though. I've been much too overworked in the past months to have time.
