There's really no magic here. There's a variety of "repair" utilities out there but they fall into 2 basic categories:
- those that simply repair header/link information
- those that can fix some types of systematic corruption
The key is "systematic" - it sounds like, in your case, the problem is not systematic. Even if the utility is interactive (and I seem to recall using one a long time ago with 2.x tables) it might take just as long to "repair" the memo as it would to re-enter the data.
