Hello to all Mere Mortals users. I am currently conducting a research on the different frameworks in the market. I would really appreciate if you could give me some feedbacks on Mere Mortals. What are the things that you like and you don't like (if there's any) in this framework?
I've been using MMF for about 5 years now. I've been fortunate to briefly use other framework while working with clients. MMF is an excellent framework both for desktop and distrbuted environments. One of the biggest features in MMF is that you can write your application to be used in a desktop environment and scale it to the web with minimal rewriting.
The builders that come with MMF for facilitating UI development are very helpfull in the sense that they hide the unnecessary clutter yet allow also fine tune using the VFP's IDE. The Business Object feature is probably one of it's strongest feature since they are the key to scalability.
Above all, should you decide to bring Kevin on board to help with your development, he will not only bring knowledge to the team he brings the team closer. He finds way to bring the love out of the toughest "clam".
