OLE Public Server - Single Use
Hello all,
I have a custom OLE Public Server (build as SINGLE USE) with a method which opens some tables of a database and make lot of temprary SQL cursors in order to reach the final reporting result)
VFP documentation mension that by building the server as Single use require more memory and allows the operating system to apply preemptive multitasking.
If I build the OLE server as MULTI USE i have conflics like "File is in Use " ... etc
I have found somewhere that if I have Private data sessions I can solve the problem. Is this true ?If yes how can i do this ? Do i need a Form on the server instead of CUSTOM ole class ?
There are any other issues if I use this Sessions?
Note : The Program is working OK now, with the Single USE build. Is it worth it to change the logic ?
Thanks in advance
Peter
