I was always under the impression that if you reply/opt out then what that in fact does is confirm your address so they have achieved their goal and have validated an address! Which I guess they then sell on.

>Good luck! I've tried hitting all the 'opt out' options in the junk I do get, and it only seems the volume has INCREASED. I suspect for every removal you process in that fashion, your address is given to 2 or 3 others. At least the authorities are finally pursuing the worst of the spam scams.
