And the config.fpw is sitting in the same directory as the .EXE or is referenced on the command line with a "-c" directive?

Are you bringing up the second program in a window of it's own? If not, you might want to think about it. That will allow you to do away with the "SAVE SCREEN" since :

1. You will not be overwriting the first screen

2. Unless you are "re-using" the variable name for the array, the second screen can't touch it anyway.
