What I've seen so far, about those who used a fake account/email, as per our monitoring of removing that faked data, are usually people who only come here once, just lurking, found themselves on the wrong site, as no interest to UT, etc. So, instead of having 60,000 accounts, we have a little bit less because we do a lot of work on the monitoring process. As oppose to other sites who keep them all in order to increment their stats, we prefer to keep the data with an integrity as good as we can.
No kidding. The thing that bothers me sometimes is those new members using fake names, that do use the UT on a regular basis. One example from the VB forum is a person claiming to be "Asno Donkey". "Asno" being the spanish translation of donkey. I would say it is highly unlikely that this is his/her real name. If it is a real name then Mr. Donkey, please accept my apologies..
But then again I have this third cousin who named his little girl "Cindy Madonna" when both Cindy Lauper and Madonna were starting to be popular. (no joke here)
