>>No kidding. The thing that bothers me sometimes is those new members using fake names, that do use the UT on a regular basis. One example from the VB forum is a person claiming to be "Asno Donkey". "Asno" being the spanish translation of donkey. I would say it is highly unlikely that this is his/her real name. If it is a real name then Mr. Donkey, please accept my apologies..

>Well, of course, you would have concluded that I was not aware of that one. Just send me an email if such discovery is done on your side if you wish to really make sure it'll be removed as some me slip sometimes.

I wasn't pointing the finger at the UT, just venting a little bit. I guess it could be hard with 40K + members to check every name. Also it could be difficult with hispanic names, you probably can get some help from the spanish-speaking sysops.

One recent example of that (a few months ago) is a person that created an account with "Armando Programejos" as a name, which roughly means "building minimalistic programs". I sent a private message to this member and he did entered his real name after that.

That one would be difficult to catch for the UT staff since "Armando" can be a real name. Actually I have a good friend with that first name that is also a programmer.
