I agree with the general idea of writting book about grid and other controls, which could be used in a grid. I know for sure, that Vlad developed lots of good stuff for grids (I've tested few such controls). I believe, all this good work has to be published in some way and it would be great, if it would be rewarded, though from other responses I gather, that it would not be much money...

Anyway, something should come out there. I gladly appreciate Mathew's enthusiasm about doing such work with coordinating the writting process. I'm wondering, where does he stand now about this idea, what kind of response did he get from Hejntzweke (please, forgive me for mispell, but this one is extremely tough to remember)...

I discussed the idea of publishing Vlad's materials with him in private just couple of days before the original thread came out, so it was a great coincidence and an opportunity for Vlad to publish his work.

I believe, the same could be applied to Nick, Cetin and Marcia, if they would participate in this book.

I'm not sure, if this work would be rewarded from VFP community the way, it should be rewarded, but the authors would benefit from writting anyway...
