I'm working on a project which involves customising an App written in Visual Promatrix 6.0 ( which I haven't used before ).

I like the way that the data manager allows you to create a picklist ( the button with a down arrow that appears next to a textbox ) associated with a textbox without any coding. I've created a number of picklists and they work fine as long as the textbox has a Control Source. What if I want to create a selection screen that has a number of fields but there isn't any control source for the fields? Does the picklist only work for textboxes with a control source?
