How about this as a solution. Make a small vfp exe, named myvfp.exe, whose only task is to poll the directory that my users are uploading into. If a file is detected then the small myvfp.exe can run the geodigm.exe which would in turn read the file and produce the jpg files. Remember that the geodigm.exe has UI as it reads the uploaded file and produces the jpgs. I can't control the brief UI. Is it possible to have my myvfp.exe run as a window's "service" and in turn run the geodigm.exe.
