A good alternative can be found in the Hentzenwerke "1001 Things" book. There is a great error handling kit there (a table and some .prg-based classes) that will spit out a complete text file regarding any error that comes up, and since it's all .prg you can make it log silently or do anything else you want. Everything and more that you see in the Debugger ends up in the text file, which you can then email or whatever. I highly recommend it, just by itself it's worth the price of the book.
