I asked this question before, but didn't get a solution or concise explanation so far...

We're using Novell 4. Most of the workstastions are Windows 98. Live server is a NT Server. All applications and tables reside on the Network.

Sometimes users receive "Record is locked or file is in use" error message in a messagebox with only OK button. At this moment there is only one user, which uses this particular work file, though lots of users work with different work files at the same moment.

Do you have an idea, what's going on and how can we solve the problem?
