I never said that the .Net sessions are a bad thing. In fact, I think its great for VFP developers to learn how to use .Net. I hope my release schedule allows me to attend.

Of all the DevCon sessions, only 5 of the 23 main DevCon sessions include .NET, and 2 of those 5 actually include VFP "with" .NET and the others are from a VFP perspective. Over half of the VFP developers asked here on the UT and other sources say they will be using .NET in the future. I expect this DevCon will be more informative compared to DevCons of recent years and will far exceed expectations by those who attend. People who attended DevCons in the past should not compare them to this upcoming one. DevCon 2002 will a conference VFP developers will not want to miss.
