What is the best way to add an item to a combo-drop down list that has a table as its RowSourceType is an alias. The table is bound to the combo box. The only way I seem to be able to get the combo box to update the list properly is to insert into the table. In the valid clause of the combo box, after checking to make sure the entry is not already in the list,I insert into the table using the combo.DisplayValue then refresh the combo box. There must be an easier way? What am I doing wrong?
