Hello,

I am currently using VFP5/6 to develop our software application, but I need to negate the 2GB DBF file limit imposed by FoxPro. I have done some reaserach and understand CodeMine can handle files well in excess of this and am naturally interested in finding out how easy it would be to incorporate this into our existing VFP app. I am looking at handling a specific table using the functionality and we do use a specific procedure for table opening. Can you use VFP functions on the table once open?

I am interested in any feedback on this. Obviously with all development I can't devote a whole lot of time to implementing this as a solution because we are in the process of upgrading to a Delphi solution. However if I can get the required results in the short term, 3 month development cycle, I am willing to send the time accordingly.

The performance issues are also of interest. If anybody has experienced the same type of situation I would be delighted to hear form you,

Kind Regards,
