In the meantime (well, some months later <g>), I've built an FLL that shows a Windows MessageBox at whatever position you want it to appear. I've submitted it to UT, but it's not in the downloads section, yet. If you still need that functionality, just drop me a note and I'll be glad to send you the fll via mail in advance.
