Hi all,

Well, it only took one day for me to have to ask another 'newbie' question. <g>

We finally have our DNS records acting correctly - as in having finally propigated.

Now, I'm finding that I can send mail manually from the Linux Sendmail box but it apparently cannot receive anything. This leads me to believe that our router's ports are somehow goofed up but barring that - where do I need to go to make sure all my files are correctly set up?

I know a coule but I'm thinking there might be one missing??

For example, I know to go look at /etc/sysconfig/network and /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 but I'm sort of lost on the others.

Anyone who can give me a list? I can most likely take it from there.

Also, in what file does one assign port numbers?

TIA!!!!
Best,

DD
