I need to get the location of the nth occurence of a string within another string (from the string end). This is simple in VFP - use RAT(). Is there a VB equivalent?

Another larger question - is there a grouping anywhere of VB functions by type e.g. string functions? VB6 Help makes it hard to find (for me, anyways) functions that might do what I need so I don't have to reinvent the wheel.
