I have a couple of clients with fast XP Pro boxes on (different) W2K Server domains. They log in to a domain account, which has been made a member of the machine's local Administrators group.
When they log in the password is accepted immediately, but it takes up to several minutes for the desktop to appear.
In contrast, logging in as the local Admin on the local machine is instantaneous.
Ideas, anyone?
