This system is running 24/7, so, if it is required to have an exclusive lock on the dbc for the RI to be recompiled, that would be impossible (except when it goes down due to this error).

Having said that, VFP5 was found on the system and has now been removed (just because). Opening the dbc shared would not have affected the compiled code would it?
