To all who responded to "adding the free table to the environment programatically" problem. . .

I've been in touch with MS Tech support, and we've isolated it to my system. I emailed the tech guy the code, and it works on his machine but not on mine. . .

My next step will be reinstalling VFP, as we've checked all my options and all the important ones are set to the defaults.
