My second query is as follows:

I hold a lot of data in 'Parameter Records' which would have only one record in it, and is not linked to any other tables by way of database fields, but it is needed in most reports.

I do this in R&R as follows:

a) Set up a Variable and put the Value 1 into it
b) In R&R , you can link by Related field or Record No. Using the Value 1, I relate my main table of the report using this Value 1

I can then acces all the fields on this Parameter File quite neatly.

Do you know if it is possible to do this in Crystal, without resorting to Sub Reports (i.e. Can you link to another table without using a field that has to reside on the Linking Table)
