And that would provide another chapter :) "Why this works different than VFPx ?"
It happened between versions and possibly would happen again :)
PS: It was challenging to keep compatibility for VFP5-7 range in FoxyClasses grids. I'm sure VFP7 users are blaming me when they saw source code thinking a block of code would be much simplier by a single line of function :) or VFP5-6 users wouldn't understand why I needed a workaround seemingly unnecessary in VFP5-6 but 7 (I'm a bad coder when it's comments and documentation:)

>I have considered that. Then I thought about how many people out there are still using VFP3,5,6. I was thinking just before your reply "Am I going to buy 7?", How soon will everybody update their frameworks? We were still on Win95/Novell4.1 running a FPD2.6 app when I started here. It's taken 9 months to get a hybrid FPW/VFP app built. I don't know that many production outfits that jump to the latest and greatest. I'm still trying to convince the folks here that if you don't upgrade with some sor of frequency, soon you can't really upgrade at all.

>>I just wonder if it is possible to determine from Ken if grids will be going through any type of major transformation in the Toledo version before you get too far into this? I love the idea of a book on grids myself, but if grids are refactered, then what?
