Doug,

>This clearly isn't an SDT issue, so you'll need to resolve this somehow.

I can accept that this isn't an SDT error. However, in my pursuit of fixing this problem I've managed to mess up my SDT tables. I reinstalled SDT to my x:\ drive such that I have an x:\vfp\sdt directory. I then...and I think this is the fatal mistake...deleted the meta tables for SDT with a view to starting over ie dbcxreg etc. SDT now starts ok with no DBC, but if I open the DBC from the command window with a view to having the meta tables recreated, then open SDT explorer, I get this message:

SDT version:
Error #: 1230
Message: Too many arguments.
Line #: 51
Code: lnRow = ascan(taArray, tuValue, lnStartElement, -1, lnColumn, lnFlags)
Method: arrayscan
Object: sfutility.

I realise that I may now be getting irritating. Apologies.

Paul
