Something else that got changed in the re-release...

I remember the audience breaking up, during the chase scene in the Death Star, when Han and Chewbaca are being chased by storm troopers down a corridor... the lead trooper calls out on his comlink.... "Close the Blast Doors, Close the Blast Doors"... then the doors close... but not before Han and Chewie jump through... then the resulting 'Open the Blast Doors, Open the Blast Doors".... a good laugh...

but in the re-release, they take out the 'Close the Blast Doors, Close the Blast Doors'.. not so funny... sigh... why????
