For our company spread over many states and hundreds of employees. I was a little turned off by having to run setup.exe at every computer that needs access to a VFP 7 program.
I like dropping the DLLs, the executable, and tables in a central place. Then having the Network guys push a shortcut to the program on the users'desktops and/or task bars in the relevant network groups. It was very easy that way, and worked for me. Do not get me wrong I like new installer program but I wish the old way worked as well. It would provide me with more flexibility.
