I am trying to (one-time only) export a separate RTF file for each group in an existing Crystal report. All of the records are in a VFP table. Each group represents one participant and I'd like to name the export file by ID#.rtf. I understand this can be done by writing code in Visual Basic and accessing the Crystal Reports 8.5 RDC Automation Server Object. I have the sample code, but can't really figure out how to get the Visual Basic application to trigger the Crystal print engine. I'd like to automate this, since selecting each ID# separately and exporting out will be very time-consuming. There are several thousand in the file. Any help will be greatly appreciated, especially an explanation of how Visual Basic works with Crystal Reports!!!!
