How to make detail print right to the bottom of the page

1. For the memo field, only make it one line tall and then check the "Stretch with overflow" option.

2. Next, get rid of any extra white space in the Detail band .. in other words, it should only be as tall as one record so position the gray bar in the Report Designer right up underneath the last object in the Detail band.

3. Make sure the footer band is only as tall as the objects in it .. in other words, make sure there isn't any extra white space at the top of the footer band or at the end of the footer band which would cause the Report Writer to reserve extra space at the bottom of the page.
