Why don't we stop just complaining on bug fixes? At least VFP7 has fewer of those than VFP6 had at the same 'age' (remember to wait for SP3 before VFP6 became stable). Well, my subject is not only that, but we VFP users try to collaborate in order to make it the best development tool. For example, here in Peru most 'serious' developers say they use PowerBuilder and they say that it is better than VB and, of course, VFP. 5 or 7 years ago VFP was very well respected but now it was replaced by PB and VB. They say that VFP is just a toy and is not a real development tool like PB. That makes me angry!!!! But, I tried PB a little and there are some things that I like a lot, its menu designer which is sincronized with a toolbar, so that every option in a menu can also be a button in the toolbar. I also like the Data Window control which makes a breeze to create forms, wel there are other things that I don't remember now but good ones. So, why don't we just help make VFP the dreamed development tool we all want? The Fox team could begin improving the menu designer and the report designer, as well to have a much better view designer and better support for ActiveX controls? I hope you agree with me.
